Sarah's Birthday Party!

I know it's been like a month since Sarah's birthday party but this was the first chance I got to update. Her birthday day party was absolutely amazing! All the girls at her party were divided into 3 different teams. My team was named the Peppie Polka Dots, and my team members were Awesome Abby, Outstanding Olivia, Retro Rachael, and me Beautiful Bekah ( It's not vain if its true!). There were five different competitions throughout the party. The first two competitions were the name and t-shirt designs this was one by.... The Peppie Polka Dots!!!!!! The next challenge was the How Well Do You Know Sarah challenge. Sadly this was won by the Sweet Potatoes. The third challenge was the Gingerbread village challenge. All the teams made their own gingerbread village, and this took until 1:00 a.m..... not fun; but in the end it was worth it because the Polka Dots and Rabid Bunnies tied for first. The final challenge was the photo scavenger hunt. This challenge was probably my favorite, because for one hour we got to run around a strip mall taking pictures of random stuff, and act crazy with my friends. What made this even better was that The Polka Dots one, thus making The Polka Dots the winners for the entire weekend!

Back From the Wilderness

Sooooo,

I know this is a little late (like a week late) but this is the first chance I've gotten to update. I had an AMAZING at Fall Retreat this year. The first thing we did was discover what team we were on and decide what are team name was. I was on the black team and our name was the Ligers (not my idea), and we came in fourth out of four in creativity in our flag and name.

Then we went to the food challenge. Somehow I always ended up eating fish. This stuff was worth ten points ( the most you could get). It consisted of a bunch of different kinds of fish that nobody has ever heard of and its consistency made me think I was eating a brain.

The food challenge ended the first evening, after that we went and ate supper, had a devotion, then just hung out around the camp fire.

The next day we had the water challenge ( yes the water challenge means we get in the lake... in the fall) during this challenge I managed to get my pants completely soaked! In this challenge we tied for third. After we all got into dry clothes we went on to the scavenger hunt, then the riddle challenge. We came in second in the riddle challenge. Then we had a challenge made up of a bunch if different challenges which were worth various amount of points. that ended the second day.

Day number three brought the fire challenge, the raft challenge, the ball challenge and the trivia challenge. Now during the entire trip we got a roll of duct tape and some twine and we were supposed to make a raft using the tape. twine, and the rest of the stuff had to be all natural. These rafts were judged by two things, durability and creativeness. Black team's raft was won fourth in durability and first in creativity ( our first win!). After we got all pumped up about our first win we went on to win the fire challenge, ball challenge, and the final challenge... the trivia challenge. All of these challenges were won by the balk team!!!!!!!!

When we got back to the church we were all anxious to hear who won the the entire thing. And guesse what BLACK TEAM WON!!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOO LIGERS! Our prize was we all got to sign the golden paddle, and we got cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory! So that ended my awesome weekend. This weekend isn't shaping up to be as great as the last one unfortunately, I'm siting here watching the Georgia game right now...... sad times. But I haven't lost hope, I still have faith that we could turn it around if our team would start playing football.

My Crazy Life!

Hey Everyone!

So I know I haven't updated but I've been to busy with babysitting, school, church, school, drama, and did I mention school!?!?!?!? Anyways, for the past week I've had a cold. Yes, I got a cold the second week of fall. I don't think I'm going to make it through winter. It's already SO FREEZING!!!!!! So that's what has been going on since I last updated. I'll update as soon as something else happens.

I just got done with VBS! In case any of you didn't read my last post I volunteered to teach missions for Granny's Bible school. I quickly captured the attention of the 1st and 2nd graders, when Granny introduced me as "a really live missionary." But as for the other groups I don't know what I did to them!

Now I'm waiting again for cousins to come over. So we can do something. I think i'll go and get some cake!

Hello everybody!

Well right now I'm watching an Animal Planet while waiting to jump into the pool. So yesterday we didn't do much except go to Church and VBS. Today we gave Deanna a surprise birthday party at the pond. She got some great presents, like the top of a picture that my Granny framed (don't ask, a map with Tanzania on it, a fake pepper, a cell phone that doesn't work with a home phone charger, a bird coffee cup, and a candle holder. Most of those gifts were inside jokes. 

So tonight I'm teaching missions about Tanzania for my Granny. Please pray that I'll do a good job. Well I'm going to go and try to find out how much longer it will be 'till we can swim!

Well, I'm sitting here on the couch having just gotten back from church waiting for something to do. I just helped granny a little bit with lunch. 2 of my cousins are at church and the other one is a going to be coming over soon. So since I have nothing else to do, I decided to update!!!!!!!

  Oh, Andrew just came in so all end this post!!!!!!!!!

Going to Granny's

So... today has been a busy day. We got up and met my Granny and cousin Nathan for lunch! After we ate lunch we set out for Granny's. When we got to Granny's (2 and a half hours later) The boy's, Nathan,and Sarah got in her pool. I called Deanna to see if her and Andrew would come over and got her answering machine. About 10 minutes later Andrew called back and said that they were coming over "soon". Apparently soon so him and soon to me have completely different meanings. So me and Elizabeth sat on the couch watching the news and playing with Granny's computer for about 45 minutes until Andrew and Deanna got here. For quite a while after they got here we just sat around and watched the news some more. 

Our adventures all started when Grandpa called us and told us to come down to the pond where he and the boys were fishing to take a picture of the huge fish Phillip caught. So Andrew drove me down to the pond and we took pictures of the ENORMOUS fish! The fish was 23 inches and 7 pounds! Since we were all ready at the pound Andrew and I decided to do some fishing.  After awhile of fishing a got a few nibbles and then a bite! I actually caught a fish! It wasn't near as impressive as Phillips and I had to through it back because it wasn't big enough to eat but I was just happy that I caught a fish! After awhile more of fishing we got impatient and decided to take a break.

For our break we went to get Deanna's phone charger. So we went and got it and brought it back to Granny's . Then we were pulling out of the driveway to go fishing again when Andrew stopped, jumped out of the car, and said "Come here!" When I got to where he was a saw that he was holding a snake!!!!!!!!!!!! That was his 17th snake he had caught this year! We got pictures with the snake and went fishing for a few more hours. Then we came back ate supper and played volleyball in the pool.

Now I am sitting here listening to Granny complain about her lousy hand in rook,mixed with the sound of the news. It's been a great day and now I need to go and get ready for bed.

Oh, I have pictures of the fish and the snake that I'll post as soon as I can!

Adoption

Hey everyone!
Some of you have been asking questions about our adoption, so I thought that I would try to answer some of them. We don't know who we are adopting or from where, our adoption agent works with allot of kids from Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Ohio. Mrs. June Bond ( are adoption agent) came over Wendsday and did a home study. She said we had to do a little more paper work and then they'll start looking for a kid for us!!!!!!!

Cousins!!!!!!!

Friday my cousins and grandparents from south Georgia came up to see Elizabeth's play! We had tons of fun. Saturday we went out for breakfast with with them and then we went shopping! After we went shopping we went to bowl. We did a very unique way of bowling, it was pig bowling! I made a 56 and won!!!!!!!!!! Elizabeth lost with an 11:). Then the girls went with granny to "quickly" pick up Granny some winter clothes at Belks. I didn't work. While Granny was looking for some clothes us girls went to go have fun! We tried on clothes,shoes, and we found some AMAZING hats. That's when I heard on the speaker "would Elizabeth,Rebekah, Sarah, and Deanna please come up to the front to meet your mom." We hurried to the front where Granny( not my mom, the lady was mistaken) was and found out that, that was the second time she had called us over the speakers! When we got home Deanna and I were panicking because we had not been in the hot tub the entire day! We stayed in there until Deanna had to go and get ready to go to the play. After lunch today they had to leave :(. I just thought I would update about my terrific weekend.

Random post!

I'm bored and I don't I have to go to bed soon so I decided to put up a post. What really stinks right now is that American Idol doesn't come on until 9 and I have to go to bed. Tomorrow we are having like a ton of people over at our house for supper. Then Friday my Grandparents and cousins are coming up. I'm really excited. Well I have to go, I'll try to update soon.

Daylight savings

So I was thinking and started to wonder why in the world we have daylight savings. I mean it seems pretty pointless because all it does for me is make me get up earlier and puts me in a bad mood. So I researched it and this is what I found. Benjamin Franklin made it up so we could make better use of the day time in the summer, also so we could enjoy summer evenings and play outside longer. I'm sure i'll enjoy that extra hour in the summer, but for right now Benjamin Franklin is on my bad list.
