Meet Adam and Eve. These two are twins that came into the hospital a couple of weeks ago. They were 11 months old and weighed 8 pounds each. They can't stand or crawl or even sit up by themselves so Mom, Sarah, and I have been going down there every day to play with them and try to stimulate them.

Another thing that I do every day is go down and play with the kids at the childrens center.

Last Week's Craziness!

Last week the language school had a group of middle schoolers come for a week to learn spanish. Sarah and I tagged along for their adventures!

Monday: First day of school! In the morning we had spanish lessons. Then in the afternoon we had an art class, a cooking class, and a lesson on the history of Mexico! Our homework for that day was to go home and relax!




Tuesday: Tuesday morning we had spanish lessons. Then in the afternoon we went to the Palacio de Cortez!

Wednesday: We had one hour of spanish that morning then it was off to Tepoztlan! We visited a cathedral there and then hiked up the mountain of death to reach a pyramid on top!

After a hard days work we went to Los Colorines. It is a restaurant that is paint completely pink!

Thursday: Spanish lessons in the morning. In the afternoon we had salsa dancing lessons, the went to the Robert Brady Museum.

Robert Brady was a pretty strange man! He liked to wear costumes on a regular basis!

Friday brought the best part of the week! It was the last day we did things with the school. We had spanish lessons in the morning then it was off to the natural water park!!!!

Saturday: The whole family went on a tour of Mexican cathedrals around the state of Morelos!

After a long day we ate dinner at El Chivo! It's said to be the best restaurant in the state of Morelos!

Last week we went to the Curenavaca Mall! After we found it we had a great time! We ate dinner at Pizza Hut!

Unfortunately no Krispy Kream for me. :(

But I did get an Icee!

We got our first care package yesterday! We were all extremely excited! Thank you Granny for all the wonderful goodies!

A Few of My Favorite Things!

These are a few of my favorite things around Cuernavaca!

We are Here!!!!!

We have arrived safely in Cuernavaca! Yesterday was an extreamly long day but it was good. We had to get up before 6 to be able to get to the airport. The flight was about 4 hours and it was awesome to be able to fly over Mexico City. I didn't know Mexico City was tht big but when you fly over it you realize that its HUGE!!!!! We collected all our luggage, and then we drove 2 hours to get to Cuernavaca. When we got here we lugged all our 12 bags of luggage up three flights of stairs! Then we started walking to try and find some food. We decided that for our first meal in Mexico we would get pizza!!!! Yeah, that was Phillips decicion, but it was good pizza! And we had coke in a bottle!!!!!! After we had finished our lupper we walked acouple of blocks to the grocery store. Then we had to carry all our groceries back to our appartment! After these four months I better be in amazing shape!
Internet is not very good here, but we are trying to get it worked out. I don't know how often I will be able to update but I will try to as much as possible. Thanks for all your prayers they ment alont to us. Please continue to pray that we will be able to learn the langauge quickly!

Summer!

Summer is finally here!
I finished my sophomore year with all a's!!!!!! Since summer begun I have had Elizabeth's graduation, my piano recital, family coming (allot!), cleaning, VBS, and going to visit friends. I have been sooooooooooooooooo busy, and now I am tired. I just got back from Abby's house where I was since Saturday. The rest of the week is going fulled with babysitting, cleaning, and friends ( Katie and Hannah)!!!!!!!! And next week I head off to camp! So I probably won't be able to update for a while. So I hope you all have great summer!!!
